Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Delivery Drivers to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely during day and night shifts. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations while ensuring timely deliveries.
Duties
* Operate HGV 2 vehicles for the transportation of goods across designated routes during day and night hours.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, including flatbed operations when required.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per company policy.
* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 2 licence
* Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver.
* Familiarity with flatbed operations is advantageous but not essential....
