Please note this as a PERMANENT full time position.

After a Successful interview you will have an immediate start.

Hours of work Monday to Friday 06:50 – 15:00.

After Training overtime available.

Saturday 07:00 – 12:00 paid at £130.00.

Finish times may vary depending on orders and season.

Salary from

  • Daily £130.00
  • Weekly £650 to £880
  • Yearly £33.800 to £45.760

You will be a team player but also have the confidence to deal with customers.

We are looking for experienced HGV class 2, 8 wheeler drivers in the Corby, and surrounding areas.

You will be delivering ready-mix concrete to construction and off-road locations, so you must be comfortable working in a hands-on, “mucky” environment.

Bonus Scheme when fully trained:

  • Volumetric Trucks: Per each drop they do they will receive £3.75 (Volumetric will load themselves on loading shovel and sometimes will be in Northampton).
  • Barrel Trucks: Per each drop they do they will receive £3.00 (Barrels will not load themselves and are also local to the Corby yard)
  • Bonus depending on how busy the week is can work out to around £80 - £100 extra a week.

Overtime:

  • Saturday- Morning work 7-12 will be paid at a full shift £130.00
  • Nightshifts – These vary but can be as little as 1 hours work or 3 hours but again will be paid a day rate regardless of time and you will have your start time changed for your following shift so you are legal.

What do we need from you?

  • Over 25.
  • UK HGV Class 2 Licence, CPC and Tacho.
  • 1 years driving experience HGV Class 2.
  • No more than 6 points.
  • Excellent commination skills.
  • No DR, DD, IN or TT bans.
