HGV Class 2 ADR Driver

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in South Kirkby and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced ADR drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as LGV Class 2 Driver, Truck Driver or Category C Driver.

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday: 6am Starts

Pay Rate:

  • £17.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
  • Safe transportation of Packed goods ADR and competing low pressure discharge deliveries
  • Complete loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff

Essential Skills

  • Valid UK Category C Licence
  • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)
  • Valid ADR certificate
  • Reliable, professional, and punctual
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Understanding of road safety and compliance

Desirable Experience

  • Experience conducting ADR deliveries
  • Good customer interaction and service skills

Training

  • Full industry-related training provided
  • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
