HGV Class 2 Driver (ADR Preferred) - Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing operation working out of Northfleet. These are temp-to-perm opportunities , ideal for drivers looking for long-term stability and career progression.

Role Overview

Vehicle types: Rigid and Curtainsider
ADR preferred (Curtainsider roles will require ADR )
Extensive travel within the assigned region
Average 4-7 collections per day
Collections include hazardous and non-hazardous materials

ADR Work Includes

Lead acid batteries
Empty paint cans
Mixed fuels

Key Duties

Safe and compliant transportation of goods
Completing daily collections and deliveries
Manual handling, including cages and pallets
Adhering to transport and ADR regulations at all times
Completing relevant paperwork accurately

Pay & Hours

£16.00 per hour
6:00am start time
45 hours per week on average
Hours vary day-to-day (for example, 9 hours one day and up to 12 the next)

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
ADR licence desirable (essential for Curtainsider roles)
CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
Comfortable with manual handling
A professional and safety-focused attitude
