HGV Class 2 Driver (ADR Preferred) - Temp to Perm


We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing operation working out of Northfleet. These are temp-to-perm opportunities, ideal for drivers looking for long-term stability and career progression.


Role Overview
  • Vehicle types: Rigid and Curtainsider
  • ADR preferred (Curtainsider roles will require ADR)
  • Extensive travel within the assigned region
  • Average 4-7 collections per day
  • Collections include hazardous and non-hazardous materials

ADR Work Includes
  • Lead acid batteries
  • Empty paint cans
  • Mixed fuels

Key Duties
  • Safe and compliant transportation of goods
  • Completing daily collections and deliveries
  • Manual handling, including cages and pallets
  • Adhering to transport and ADR regulations at all times
  • Completing relevant paperwork accurately

Pay & Hours
  • £16.00 per hour
  • 6:00am start time
  • 45 hours per week on average
  • Hours vary day-to-day (for example, 9 hours one day and up to 12 the next)

Requirements
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • ADR licence desirable (essential for Curtainsider roles)
  • CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
  • Comfortable with manual handling
