Job Title: HGV Class 2 ADR Driver Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Temporary-Ongoing with the opportunity of Permanent Location: Aberdeen Pay Rate: £21.15 per hour basic Hours: Monday to Friday- weekend working may be required
The UK and Ireland's leading provider of industrial, medical, and special gases requires a HGV Class 2 driver with ADR licence on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of the vehicle allocated. Completing daily pre-use inspection check sheet for the vehicle and any specialised equipment that may be needed as part of daily work. If necessary, operating special BOC equipment such as a forklift truck or crane for loading and unloading vehicles. Applying defensive driving techniques, knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads to ensure the safe transit and delivery of cylinders. Delivering approximately 15-20 gas cylinders per day to customers in the area. Using safe cylinder manual handling techniques to deliver/collect cylinders to/from customers. Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations. Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver:
