Shunter Driver – Class 1 (HGV) Corby | Full-time, shift-based
A well-established manufacturing business in Corby is seeking an experienced Shunter Driver to support movements of raw materials and finished goods across multiple local sites.
Key Responsibilities
Shunting trailers on/off bays and between nearby sites
Operating a Terberg and Class 1 HGV
Yard organisation, vehicle checks, and defect reporting
Ensuring loads are secured and DVSA compliant
Occasional warehouse/operational support when required
Requirements
Class 1 HGV licence (minimum 2 years’ experience)
Terberg experience
Valid CPC & Digi card
Safety-first, reliable, and a strong team player
Right to work in the UK
Shifts 3-week rotating pattern (days, afternoons, nights) – average 45 hours/week
Pay & Benefits
£39,286 basic salary + overtime
33 days holiday (incl. bank holidays)
