Role: HGV Class 1 Night Driver\nSalary: £19.05 per hour including holiday pay (£17.00 with accrued holiday pay)\nLocation: South Manchester, Salford, Trafford Park, Urmston, Irlam and Carrington\nWork Pattern: Full time, contract, temporary, or part-time to suit\n\nDriver Hire, the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company have been engaged by several major European companies to fulfil their permanent and ad-hoc/driver cover requirements. We are therefore currently seeking several HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for various roles and contract terms (to suit you) in and around Trafford Park.\n\nAs a HGV Class 1 Night Driver you will be required to carry out depot to depot deliveries and trailer swaps, taking and following instructions from the transport teams.\n\nHGV Class 1 Night Driver responsibilities:\n\n * Maintaining regular contact with Transport/Branch Managers on daily progress\n\n * Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits\n\n * Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws\n\n * Daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance\n\n * Completing paperwork accurately as instructed\n\nHGV Class 1 Night Driver requirements:\n\n * No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)\n\n * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card\n\n * Full UK Driving licence, held for 1 year\n\n * Cat-C+E Licence (HGV Class 1)\n\nHGV Class 1 Driver Benefits:\n\n * Weekly pay paid PAYE by BACS Transfer\n\n * Full employee benefits entitlement\n\n * Company pension\n\n * BACS transfer\n\nWe offer a true, honest, and personal service and you will deal directly with the business owner.
