HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Minworth, West MidlandsPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our well-established client based in Minworth, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver looking for consistent night-shift work.Shifts  • Monday to Friday (some Sundays available)   • PM start times between 20:00 and 22:00Rates of Pay  • £17.50 per hour – Monday to Friday   • £21.00 per hour – SundaysBenefitsAs an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will receive:  • Excellent hourly rates   • Ongoing work   • Weekly pay   • On-site canteen   • Training provided   • Immediate starts available   • Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day DutiesAs an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):  • Completing Class 1 trunking deliveries   • Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently   • Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections   • Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly   • Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations   • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers   • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements   • Assisting with loading and unloading when requiredEssential SkillsTo be successful as an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will need:  • Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence   • Minimum of 12 months' experience driving C+E vehicles   • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)   • Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card   • Good spoken and written English   • Excellent punctuality and timekeeping   • Strong understanding of UK road traffic laws   • Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience  • Previous experience driving commercial vehiclesTraining Provided  • Ongoing industry-related training and supportApplyIf you are interested in this opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.JBRP1_UKTJ
