*We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. This is a night trunking position, transporting a double-deck trailer from Birchwood to Northampton and back, running Monday to Friday.*

*Key Responsibilities:* * Operate a Class 1 double-deck trailer safely and efficiently. * Complete trunk runs to Northampton, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. * Carry out thorough pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness. * Safely load and secure cargo to prevent movement or damage in transit. * Maintain accurate records, including mileage, fuel use, and delivery times. * Adhere strictly to all road traffic laws and company safety procedures. * Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues promptly. * Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs as required.

*What We’re Looking For:* * Minimum *2 years’ experience* driving Class 1 HGVs. * Good understanding of road safety legislation and best practices. * Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. * Able to manage time effectively and meet tight delivery schedules. * Physically capable of handling loading/unloading when required. * Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

*Schedule:* * Monday to Friday Nights

*Monday to Friday start time between 16.30 pm - 17.00 pm *
