Job Description

At Direct Recruitment Services, weare currently seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for day shifts in Preston and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible working options, with both weekday and weekend shifts available.

Pay: £17 - £21ph - Weekly pay (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles on scheduled routes
  • Ensure timely deliveries and collections
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork
  • Adhere to all road safety and transport regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
  • Valid CPC & Digi card
  • Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience
  • Good understanding of UK driving laws and regulations
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
