HGV Class 1 Driver – Falkirk & Grangemouth
People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a range of clients based across Falkirk and Grangemouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking flexible work across different contracts, including trunking, container work, and store deliveries.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver , or Articulated Lorry Driver .
Shifts:
• Monday to Sunday work available
• Dayshift and nightshift roles available
• Flexible start times
Rates of Pay:
• Dayshift: £16.50 per hour (first 8 hours between 6am – 6pm)
• Nightshift: £17.50 per hour (first 8 hours between 6pm – 6am)
• Overtime 1: £19.00 per hour (after 8 hours Monday–Friday and all Saturday hours)
• Overtime 2: £20.00 per hour (all Sunday and Bank Holiday hours)
Rates may vary depending on the client.

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an HGV Class 1 Driver will be:
• Trunking, container, and store deliveries
• Completing delivery paperwork
• Vehicle checks and compliance
• Safe handling and transport of goods
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be an HGV Class 1 Driver are:
• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• CPC and digital tachograph card
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
• Good communication skills
Training:
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout
