HGV Class 1 Driver

The Best Connection are seeking part time LGV CE / HGV Class 1 drivers for our client in Normanton, WF6. We're looking for reliable, safety-focused Primary Drivers to support one of the UK's most trusted and long-standing food manufacturing and distribution businesses. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering fresh bakery products from our regional sites to our depots, supporting the smooth and efficient running of our nationwide supply chain - movement of cages with totes of bread products on at most destinations will be required. This is an essential logistics role where your professionalism keeps our shelves stocked and our customers happy. Drivers must have held a Class 1 licence with an in date CPC and Digi card for at least 12 months with no more than 6 licence points, with no major endorsements. A driving assessment will be required and this will include maneuvering and reversing so must be competent at this. There are shifts available on afternoons and weekends and are between 1/2 to 3/4 per week. Pay rates (+ holiday pay accrual) £18.00 per hour, £22.01 per hour after 8 hours Saturdays & Sundays - £20.00 all hours Bank Holidays - £36.99 - £44.02 per hour
