Pure Staff are currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client in Droitwich on an ad-hoc basis starting ASAP!

HGV Class 1 Driver Pay Rates below:

Saturday Days £18.71
Saturday Nights £21.37
Sunday Days £24.95
Sunday Nights £28.10Please note this customer is a cross over client and Nights rates only apply between the hours of 1800 and 0400, work completed outside these hours are paid at the Days pay rate.

Your hourly pay rate is £18.71 and you will accrue £2.26 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

A HGV Class 1 driver duties will include the following -

Daily Vehicle checks
Store deliveries and trunking involved
Multi-drop with handball involved (rolling cages)
Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends
Manual entries must be done for Digi Taco Cards
A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
Ability to complete an assessment prior to work starting
always Wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis)The times we need drivers to start shifts between the hours of 18:00-05:00, adhoc shifts available on Friday's and Saturday's but also weekdays.

The customer is one of the world's largest retail distributors and offers both store delivery work and trunking back and forth to RDC's all over the UK.

3 Months experience is essential for this role
a Valid Digital tacho card
a Valid DQC card.This work is ongoing and offers regular work all year round due to the nature of the contract.

Holiday pay is also accrued as annual leave which is paid to you separately when you book annual leave. You are entitled to 33 days on annual leave and only have a 30 minute break deducted!!
