Job Description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tonbridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.
Shifts:shifts run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time or full time)
Hours:
  • Bulk - Days
  • Trunk - Afternoon/nights

Pay Rate:
  • Bulk - £15.36 per hour PAYE
  • Trunk - £17.75 rising to £18.25 between 10pm - 6am.
Location:Tonbridge, TN12
Job Type:Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing
The role:
  • Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
  • Bulk - average of 15- 20 drops/collections, drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • 6 months minimum experience required
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
