The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. Shift (Full time or part time) - Days -Shifts run across Monday to Sunday (weekends will be required) start times from midday onwards / Sunday may require a 4am start
Nights - Shifts across Sunday to Saturday - 23:59pm - 01:00am Starts
Pay Rate: Nights - £17.92 per hour PAYE
Days - £16.50 per hour PAYE
Location: Crawley RH10 Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: . Experience would be preferred but new passes will be considered Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E) Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills.
