*HGV Driving Class 1 - from £22.50 per hour , Weekends availability .*

*Pay Rates :*
* Day Shift - £22.50 per hour * Night Shift - £25.00 per hour
*Required*
* Valid Driving Licence , Valid DQC, Valid CPC * Minimum 2 year Of Class 1 * PPE (Yellow long sleeve hi-vis ,Gloves ,Boots ,Glasses-if required while driving ) * Maximum 5 infringements in last 6 months * Trunking and trailer swaps , Depot to Depot , minimum handball involved * Flexibility , All-week availability, including weekends .
*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while ensuring timely deliveries.
*Duties*
* Operate a lorry for the safe transportation of goods to various locations. * Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. * Ensure that all items are secured properly for transport. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting safety on the road. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues promptly.
*Requirements*
* Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record ( no more than 6 points and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements ) * Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients. * A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service is essential.
