HGV Class 1 Driver – Coventry, West MidlandsPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This role is ideal for applicants with experience as a LGV Class 1 Driver, Truck Driver, or Category CE Driver.Shifts:• Monday – Friday • AM or PM starts available • Weekend overtime availableRates of Pay:AM Shifts:• Basic rate: £17.34 per hour • Overtime after 9 hours: £21.68 per hour • Overtime on sixth shift: £34.69 per hourPM Shifts:• Basic rate: £18.50 per hour • Overtime after 9 hours: £23.12 per hour • Overtime on sixth shift: £37.00 per hourBenefits:As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work with paid breaks • Weekly pay • On-site canteen facilities • Training provided • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):• Completing RDC or brewery deliveries with no handball (curtain-sider work) • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly • Adhering to road traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedulesEssential Skills:As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:• Valid UK Category CE (Class 1) driving licence • A minimum of twelve months' Category CE driving experience • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Good spoken and written EnglishDesirable Experience:• Previous commercial driving experience • Brewery delivery experience (advantageous but not essential)Training:• Driver assessment required prior to start • One-day paid induction • Ongoing industry-related training and supportApply:If you are looking for a stable role with excellent pay and strong team support, apply today or contact our recruitment team for more information.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processJBRP1_UKTJ
