WPRG are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join the team in Bedford, working for the UK’s premier equipment hire company. You will be responsible for the delivery and collections of plant equipment (mainly telehandlers) from customers sites which will be recorded on a PDA system. You will be responsible for the delivery of plant equipment to sites and you must ensure all products are delivered and collected safely and of the quality expected. The Role: • Delivering and collecting plant equipment and logging all activity on a PDA system (including photographing machinery on delivery and collection) • Ensuring Tacho readings are up to date and rest breaks are taken in accordance with the driving regulations • Vehicle checks to be completed and recorded daily, minimum of 20 minutes per truck and trailer per day. • Help increase our NPS (Net Promoter Score) by providing an excellent standard of professionalism and customer service at all times • Complying at all times with the Health and Safety Regulations in regards to the loading and off-loading of Plant Equipment • Maintaining cleanliness of the exterior and interior of the vehicle, providing a professional image to our customers at all times • Using the “Driver” app so the customer can be notified prior...
