We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team to work for a client based in Bradford (BD12). The role will generally involve trunking but on occasion drivers may be required to complete a couple of drops. This will be an ad-hoc role, however, has the possibility to be ongoing temp-perm The rate of pay for this role is between £16.50-18.49 per hr (Monday to Friday). Start times will be around 5-6am. Duties Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport. Deliver goods to designated locations on time while maintaining accurate delivery records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times. Adhere to company safety protocols and report any incidents or accidents immediately. Experience Must have at least 3-6 months consistent experience in a Class 1 vehicle and be over 25 years old for insurance purposes. Valid CPC and Digi card Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within commercial driving. Valid drivers licence with appropriate endorsements for commercial driving.
