DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Ashton under Lyne, Manchester.Our client is home of UN approved and food grade plastic, glass and tinplate packaging. They supply to successful businesses in a wide range of industries, including those in the catering, construction, chemical, solvent, lubricant, resin, paint, agricultural, janitorial and toiletry trades and have over 75 years of packaging experience. They pride themselves in outstanding customer service. In addition to this, they have their own distribution fleet, enabling them to deliver their goods securely, as and when they are required. This role is a temporary position.Duties:Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficientlyDelivery of consumables to schools which are palletisedHandball will be involvedUp to 10 drops Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulationsExcellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours complianceRequirements:Current CPC Licence Current Digital Tachograph LicenceAn effective team member who works well on their own initiativeDemonstrates an excellent attitude to workSelf-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliableExcellent timekeeping and communication skillsHours:Days - Monday to Friday (4am/5am starts)Remuneration:£16.00 to £24.00 per hour Working for an agency can be a beneficial way of having a flexible working arrangement, giving you the freedom to enjoy a better work/life balance.
