HGV Class 1 Driver

M Leggate and Sons (Produce) Ltd are a family based grower with a food production facility based in Wrangle. We grow and prepare fresh brassicas that end up in many of the countrys leading retailers. Established in the 1940s we have been growing steadily and in 2018 we moved into a brand new purpose built facility.
Our current driver has retired after working for us for over 10 years so we are now looking for a replacement.
Each driver has there own lorry, which are modern (2023 model).
We are looking for a Class 1 Lorry Driver to join our team. Responsibilities include:
To hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/ Driver CPC
To own a valid Digital Tachograph Card
Physically active due to the nature of the role
Excellent communication skills
Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism
The job requires daily deliveries to customers. We run modern lorries from our base in Wrangle and deliver all across the country. We plan to get back to base each day so no nights out.
