HGV Class 1 Driver People Solutions are recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Raunds, Northamptonshire for a new contract starting from 1st January 2026 .

Shifts • AM's – Monday to Friday – 04:00–07:00 Starts • PM's – Monday to Friday – 14:00–21:00 Starts Rates of Pay AM's • £16.75 per hour (Basic) • £22.28 per hour (Overtime after 9 hours) PM's • £17.75 per hour (Basic) • £23.61 per hour (Overtime after 9 hours) Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • On-site canteen • Training provided • Genuine Temp to Perm Opportunities • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Depot-to-depot trunking routes or trailer swaps • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured safely • Adhere to traffic laws, company regulations, and delivery schedules Essential Skills • Valid UK Category CE / Class 1 Driving Licence • Minimum 2 years' CE / Class 1 driving experience • No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only) • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Good spoken and written English Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience Training Provided • Drivers must pass an assessment prior to starting • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout Apply If you are looking for a stable, hands-on role in a growing company with great team spirit, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more. xbpsjku
