Class 1 HGV Driver, working for a family run business now in its 54th year, friendly, professional and a fleet that is modern and extremely well kept, are looking for drivers that take pride in the vehicle and service they offer. You will be making palletised deliveries on a curtain sider, the ability to ensure every load is secure before moving is imperative, can communicate regarding delays and waiting times with traffic office essential. Polite, professional and capable, you will be working with a team that genuinely pulls together, *Duties* * Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. * Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner, ensuring that delivery schedules are met. * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport, especially when using flatbed configurations. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues. *Experience* * 12 months UK HGV Experience * Full UK HGV Licence * Digi Card * Drivers CPC * Polite, Professional and capable * Looking for on-going work *MONDAY TO FRIDAY PAYE (LTD WELCOME). £17.21 Per Hour* Immediate start is available MKD Recruit Ltd, 'The Drivers Choice' we are looking to work with drivers that are honest, friendly and polite, we treat our drivers in the same manner we are treated, please call our team on 01354 650466.
