HGV Class 1 Driver – Rugby, Warwickshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver – Rugby, Warwickshire to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine room for growth and progression. This role would also be suitable for candidates with experience as a LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, or Class 1 HGV Driver . Shifts • Four on, four off rota (rota provided)
If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description. • Nights • Start times between 18:00 – 20:00 Rates of Pay • Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour • Saturday: £20.00 per hour • Sunday: £22.00 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Training provided • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Class 1 trailer drop and swaps between depots • Manual work required with curtain-side trailers, including removing and placing safety bars • Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly • Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Essential Skills • Valid UK Category CE licence • Minimum 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles • No more than 6 penalty points (minor infringements only) • Valid UK CPC card and Digi card • Good spoken and written English Desirable Experience • Experience driving commercial vehicles Training Provided • Driving assessment must be passed • Training provided Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more. xehkeey People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.
