• Days:£16.68 Per hour
• Afternoons:£16.68 perhourPLUS a shift allowance of £6.69 PAID PER SHIFT
• Saturdays:£18.04 per hour
• Sundays£20.07 per hour

Overtime payable after 10.35 hours daily - £20.80 per hour

DUTIES:

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing the load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• HGVClass1driversmust carry out multi-drop deliveriesto storeswithin the delivery window in a safe manner.
• Flexibility is key as you willbe requiredto help other Screwfix sites with store deliveries and trunking where necessary using Cages, trollies and stillages
• Taking collections of empty cages/trollies back to depot
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
• Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
• Must havegood communicationskills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
• Start times are between 12:00 16:00 only

Requirements:

• HGV Class 1 Cat C+E licence minimum2 years
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours)
• Good national geographical awareness
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
• Must havegood communicationskills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
