We're currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team in Rugby. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing a top-tier service to our valued customers.Location will be Rugbywhere you will be expectedto shunt from customerto depot on LST trailersfull training will be given.Shift pattern:4 on 4 off Night Shift so some Weekend work will be required.Start time:6pm or 10pm,12 Hour shiftsSalary:£40,000 per annum, MonthlyPayKey Responsibilities:Conduct daily vehicle checks in accordance with company procedures to guarantee roadworthiness.Report any vehicle defects immediately and accurately following company protocol.Assist with the loading and unloading of company vehicles.Communicate any customer complaints to the Transport team promptly.Adhere to all current EU road transport regulations.Ensure freight is securely loaded and within weight and capacity limits.Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the vehicle.Essential Skills & Experience:Valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence.Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card).Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 penalty pointson your driving licence.
