Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) HGVs on night trunking and general haulage routes
* Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting defects promptly
* Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS and digital tachograph systems
* Complete up to 2–3 drops per shift, primarily depot-to-depot or trunking runs- No handball
* Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and ensure compliance with driving regulations
* Secure loads following health & safety best practices to ensure safe transport
* Deliver excellent customer service representing the company professionally at all times
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, UK CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles
* Maximum 9 points on licence; no DR or IN endorsements permitted
* Comfortable working night shifts starting at 18:00
* Strong knowledge of EU driving hours, WTD regulations, and health & safety standards
* Good communication skills with a professional and reliable approach
