HGV Class 1 Bulker Tipper Driver

Hours: 2pm – midnight, Monday to Friday
Pay: £20.89 per hour, overtime at time and a half
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Bulker Tipper Driver to work night shifts transporting asphalt and aggregate materials between asphalt recycling centres and asphalt plants.
This position will initially begin on a temporary contract with a view to moving onto a permanent contract after a minimum of 13 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
Operating an HGV Class 1 bulker tipper vehicle safely and efficiently
Transporting asphalt and aggregate materials between designated sites
Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with road transport regulations
Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on site and on the road
Completing paperwork and electronic records accurately
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience with bulker tipper, aggregates, or asphalt haulage preferred
Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused approach
Hours and Pay
Monday to Friday – 14:00 – 00:00
Competitive hourly rate of £20.89 per hour
Overtime paid at time and a half
