*MILK COLLECTION DRIVER, *Preferably CAT C+E, This is full time permanent role , working out of the ENDON (Stoke-on-Trent) depot.
This position will involve a 5-3, 5-4, 5-3 shift pattern with a start time of 06:00 a.m collecting milk from farms in the local area. This will involve a significant amount of rural driving and can range from 3 to 10 farms per collection depending on volumes. Milk collected is delivered into the yard and transhipped onto reload tankers for onward delivery into dairies in England and Wales
Ensuring vehicle is kept clean, completing defect report and reporting any faults to the transport manager, maintaining lubricants and coolant, Keeping records of collection notes and transhipment volumes.
Good rates of pay, additional for weekends and uniform provided. This is permanent full time role.
Previous experience in liquid loads is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Valid licence
* Digital Tachograph and full Drivers CPC
* 12+ Months HGV Class 1 driving experience
* Milk Tanker Farm Collection experience essential
* Flexibility, strong work ethic and self-motivation
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Good level of numerical literacy
* Good communication skills as will deal directly with farmers, managers and on occasion customers.
Benefits:
* Salary based on hourly rate and paid monthly: Circa £34,000 per annum
* Weekdays £14.50 & Weekends £15.50 per hour for Class 1
* 5-3, 5-4, 5-3 shift pattern on weekdays and weekends
* 23 days holidays including pro rata bank holidays
