We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support waste and recycling operations across the county.
This role offers excellent weekend earning potential and flexible working options.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating a hookloader (Roll-On/Roll-Off) vehicle, collecting and transporting large containers between household recycling centres and designated disposal sites.
Key duties include:
Driving a Class 2 hookloader (RoRo) vehicle
Collecting and transporting large waste containers
Covering multiple recycling sites across the county
Ensuring safe loading, transport, and unloading
Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining records
Adhering to all health & safety and driving regulations
Working Hours
06:00 16:00
Weekend work essential (Saturday and Sunday)
Additional weekday shifts available (35 days per week)
Pay & Benefits
£16.41 per hour
£55 bonus per weekend day (£110 for full weekend)
Ongoing work until October

Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Experience driving hookloader / RoRo vehicles (preferred)
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Strong understanding of driver regulations and safety
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
