NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire organisation that is looking to bring an experienced Plant Fitter into their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business known for its modern fleet, strong reputation, and commitment to high standards of maintenance and customer service.

As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant equipment. This role is predominantly field service with occasional workshop duties if required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and inspections on plant machinery
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Maintaining detailed service records and job reports
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Supporting breakdown response when required

We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer who takes pride in their work.

Ideal background:

• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, or similar
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines
• Experience working on equipment such as excavators, dumpers, rollers, and telehandlers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (preferred/required depending on role)

• Salary between £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
