NEOS Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established plant maintenance company based near Watford. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Plant Engineer to join their experienced team.

The Role
As a Heavy Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant machinery. This is a hands-on role involving both workshop-based work and attendance at customer sites, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards and ready for operation.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect, service, and repair a variety of heavy plant machinery. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely. Work in line with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures. Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail. Operate safely within the workshop and on customer sites. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Promote a strong culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
Proven experience in heavy plant maintenance and repair.

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance or a related discipline, or willingness to work towards this qualification.

Own tools suitable for the role. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Strong communication skills and a professional approach.

Flexible and adaptable to meet customer and business needs.
