Heavy Plant Engineer (Static / Mechanical)

£30,000 - £37,000 + Overtime + Funded Qualification + Company Benefits

Are you a Heavy Plant Engineer or similar, looking for a static role with a long-standing family ran business, offering multiple funded qualification opportunities, along side overtime and a scope to progress into a specialist role in your field?

In this role, you will be overseeing the installation, maintenance and repairs of all the relevant plant equipment including telehandlers, chipper spreaders and road rollers. Alongside this, conducting inspections and collaborating with the production teams to provide the best service. There is also the exciting chance to mentor up and coming apprentices.

Founded over 70 years ago, this family ran business specialise in road maintenance services. Ensuring all clients roadworks are maintained to the best standard. They pride themselves on their excellent client and staff retention and have ambitions to double their headcount in the coming years.

This role would suit a Heavy Plant Engineer or similar looking to gain funded qualifications within a stable, static role for a family ran business.

The Role:

  • Maintaining, Installing and repairing plant equipment and machinery
  • Working with telehandlers, road rollers and chipper spreaders
  • Carrying out inspections and fault finding
  • Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm

The Person:

  • Heavy Plant Engineer or similar
  • Mechanical bias
  • Looking to gain external qualifications
