Job Description

Our client is a well-established UK energy engineering business who specialise in the design, installation and long-term maintenance of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Heating Engineer/Pipefitter to support a number of commercial and industrial projects on a full-time permanent basis.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Installation and replacement of commercial and industrial heating systems including boilers, pumps, pressurisation units, chillers and associated pipework
  • Plant room installation and refurbishment works
  • Mechanical installation of HVAC plant and associated pipework
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
  • Ensuring installations meet industry regulations, safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Working collaboratively with engineers, project managers and site teams
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety


Essential requirements:


  • Proven experience working on commercial or industrial heating / mechanical installations
  • Strong knowledge of plant room equipment and commercial pipework systems
  • Experience installing equipment such as boilers, pumps, pressurisation systems and HVAC plant
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Good understanding of health and safety and site compliance
  • CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
