Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role (with the ability to work remotely on fridays) for a Healthcare Events Executive located in Ely. The Healthcare Events Executive will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing healthcare events. The role includes liaising with clients and stakeholders, overseeing event logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring events run smoothly. The executive will also be tasked with producing engagement strategies to maximize the impact of each event.
Key Responsibilities:
Project management of events from initiation to execution
- Venue Liaison: Research, liaise with, and secure appropriate venues for events.
- Speaker Liaison: Coordinate with speakers to organise travel, accommodation, and presentation timings.
- Support with Sponsorship generation and liaison with sponsoring pharmaceutical companies
- Onsite Administration: Provide logistical support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day.
- CRM Management: Maintain the company’s CRM system by conducting quality assurance checks against conference programmes, and managing records for delegates, speakers, and industry attendees.
- External Communications: Participate in calls with event committees, venue representatives, AV teams, and catering providers to ensure alignment and efficient planning.
- General Tasks: Manage correspondence, maintain trackers, and keep event documentation accurate and up to date.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of event executive experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other administrative tools.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the event where required.
