Cornerstone is on the lookout for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant who’s eager to take the next step towards a Senior role and join our award-winning team.

Kitnocks House is a 63-bed service made up of four specialised units, each offering high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of our residents. What hours will you work?

Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week.

What do you need?

Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

A strong mind-set to support adults with complex needs in a compassionate and professional manner.

A kind, caring, and compassionate nature.

A genuine desire to support others and make a difference.

Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Reliability and a positive attitude.

Ability to work well as part of a team.

Willingness to learn and complete training (including obtaining a Care Certificate).

Ability to follow instructions and care plans.

What will you be doing?

Observe resident progress against planned goals and report changes in the residents’ condition or care needs

Supporting all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes and social activities

Helping residents to remain as independent as possible

Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times
