HSE & Q Assurance Manager

As a producer of high specification and high technology electronic products we work with many regulated and high profile companies so our processes, approvals & documentation for Health & Safety, Quality, Environment and now Sustainability has to be exemplary.

Our reputation has been built on innovation and reliability, but all that would be lost if we suddenly developeda reputation for injuries or not caring for our colleagues. We now need a Health & Safety Manager to ensure we all operate safely and no one takes unnecessary risks.

We are a light manufacturing business with a high variety of products relying on skilled operators who take responsibility for themselves, but want to do the best for the company so may take risks. This culture of all pullingin the same direction is key to our success and is led by the Head of Operations, who you will report to.

Your role will broaden out beyond Health & Safety and will eventually include Sustainability, Environment and Quality, all very much from agrowth opportunity, H&S is key.

Youwill have completed your NEBOSH certification or even a diploma and will be continually developing.

You will be a member of IOSH and ideally aiming to become a Chartered member.

You will have worked in a manufacturing environment, ours is clean with assembly being our main process.

MOST IMPORTANTLY you will be persuasive and considerate. We all work well together and want someone who can explain and educate we have no \"telling!\" here.

We want you to continue moving our safety culture forward and make it something everyone owns and shares rather than a rule based activity.
