Health and Safety Manager - Heritage\n\nSalary and Package\n£60,000 – £70,000 – Package to be discussed.\n\nLocation\nLambeth, Central London, with occasional site visits across London and surrounding areas.\n\nFull-time, Permanent Position\n\nAbout the Company\nA well-established London construction specialist with over 30 years’ experience delivering repair, conservation and regeneration works to historic buildings and heritage assets across the capital and South East. Projects include façade restoration, masonry conservation, structural refurbishment and complex external works on high-profile and listed buildings. As Health and Safety Manager you will have visibility across multiple projects and the opportunity to shape best practice, with scope to develop the function as the business continues to grow.\n\nAbout the Role\nAs the Health and Safety Manager, you will oversee compliance and best practice across multiple live construction sites. Responsibilities and requirements include:\n\n * Overseeing health and safety across several projects simultaneously\n\n * Preparing, reviewing and approving RAMS\n\n * Conducting regular site inspections and audits\n\n * Ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations and UK H&S legislation\n\n * Leading site inductions and delivering toolbox talks\n\n * Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions\n\n * Advising project managers and site teams on safe systems of work\n\n * Monitoring subcontractor compliance and standards\n\n * Maintaining accurate H&S documentation and records\n\n * Supporting environmental and quality compliance where required\n\n * Liaising with external inspectors and regulatory bodies\n\n * NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate as a minimum\n\n * Experience operating as a Health and Safety Manager or SHEQ Manager within construction\n\n * Strong working knowledge of CDM and multi-site project environments\n\nThis role requires a proactive Health and Safety Manager who is confident working across multiple sites and comfortable engaging with operatives, supervisors and senior management.
