Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager - Harrogate, North Yorkshire - £55k-£60k+benefits - construction/maintenance.The QHSE role is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the Company's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems. The role supports safe, compliant, efficient and environmentally responsible operations across all sites, projects and activities.Key Responsibilities- Implementing and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures. Your role involves conducting site audits, inspections, identifying hazards, promoting the company's safety culture and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.- Follow/champion procedures in place to ensure yours and your colleague's health and safety is paramount.o SSOW documentation - continuous development of the company's Safe System of Work. Maintain a clear, up to date library of documents for the operations team.o CDM documentation - support the operations team with any required documents.o H&S external audits - run health and safety external audits, ensure each depot is safety compliant.o H&S audit reports - ensure all actions are closed out on the internal reporting system (currently Citation, Atlas).o H&S committee meeting - scheduling and hosting, tracking actions and closing them out.o H&S KPIs - prepare monthly for the board of directors and external stakeholders.o Incident investigation - ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented. Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents and safety observations.o Internal audits - complete for sub-contractors, suppliers and company technicians to ensure compliance of our SSOW.o Management of change - to create, maintain and promote a new management of change system for health and safety and compliance.o Occupational health - ensure assessments are completed and any recommendations are followed up, to ensure full health of the team.o PPE - ensure all safety equipment is maintained, available and recorded correctly, providing evidence of the same as requiredo PUWER - ensure all depots are compliant.o Safety campaigns - monitor safety statistics and create safety campaigns within the company. Promote a proactive safety culture and act as a role model for safe behaviour on site.o Safety regulations - stay up to date with best practices and industry standards.o Safety reports - follow up on problems identified, record accurately and ensure actions are closed out in a timely manner.o Safety training - for new inductions and all technicians. Create rescue training courses for any new turbine models, roll out company wide.o Subcontractors and suppliers - maintain up to date records of their H&S documentation and complete ad-hoc audits.Quality Management:- Maintain and develop the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 principles.- Ensure version control, document control and accessibility of quality procedures, templates and records.- Support internal and external quality audits, including preparation, participation and close-out of non-conformances.- Lead internal audits of operational activities, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.- Support the management of non-conformities, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.- Analyse trends relating to quality performance, defects, rework or service issues, providing recommendations for improvement.- Support operational teams in embedding a \"right first time\" approach to work delivery.Skills, Knowledge & ExperienceEssential:- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) or working towards.- Experience in a H&S or QHSE role within engineering, construction, energy or maintenance environments.- Working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and compliance requirements.- Strong auditing, reporting and investigation skills.- High attention to detail with strong organisational and documentation skills.JBRP1_UKTJ
