The Role
An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor to support site operations.
This is a visible, site-based role where you’ll work closely with production and engineering teams to drive compliance, improve standards, and embed a strong safety-first culture.
What Will You Be Doing ?
* Supporting the delivery of HSEQ strategy across site
* Conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections
* Leading incident investigations and RIDDOR reporting
* Developing and reviewing safe systems of work
* Monitoring HSE performance and maintaining accurate records
* Supporting ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and audit readiness
* Delivering toolbox talks and HSE training
* Coaching teams and promoting a proactive safety culture
What Will You Bring to the Party ?
* Experience in a Health & Safety role within manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation
* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
* Ability to influence both shopfloor and leadership teams
* Proactive, hands-on approach with strong communication skills
* IOSH membership and ISO auditing experience (desirable)
