Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading drug and alcohol recovery charity who are looking for a Health and Wellbeing nurse for an ongoing locum role based within a service in Bradford working 4 days per week 9am-5pm. The role is based within a service that offers a range oftreatments. This includes one-to-one support,health and wellbeing checks and structured group therapy.They also provide supportwith housing and employment. Within your role you will: To provide alcohol assessments, community detoxifications and referrals to in- patient or other support networks including mutual aid. To develop onsite service community alcohol detoxifications, working alongside operatonal colleagues. To work with local trusts and hospitals in providing a managed pathway for people with alcohol misuse, through appropriate referral process or direct referral. To provide healthcare assessment across services (including needle exchanges and outreach services where relevant to the service). Provide a BBV service that incorporates screening and vaccination for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C screening, re-screening and treatment provision in partnership with specialist services.
