The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced HCPC-registered Dietitian to fill the role of Health Coach Manager. You'll be the service manager and lead coach for a new digital health coaching service.

You’ll begin by delivering one-to-one coaching as we launch the service, helping patients build sustainable habits and navigate the lifestyle changes that support long-term weight and metabolic health. As the team grows, your role will evolve into a leadership position.

You will lead a team of health coaches, managing day-to-day operations and working closely with our clinical, operations, and product teams to ensure we deliver a high-quality, scalable and effective service. This is a unique opportunity to grow into a pivotal role within one of the UK’s most forward-thinking digital health organisations.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1: Patient-facing coaching (initial months)

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based coaching
  • Support patients through digital tools, structured behaviour change support and group education.
  • Escalate medical or safeguarding concerns in accordance with internal protocols.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and operational teams to optimise patient care.

Phase 2: Transition into Health Coach Manager role

  • Manage a team of health coaches, providing regular 1:1s and team meetings.
  • Support team development, performance reviews, and onboarding processes.
  • Monitor KPIs and key performance metrics to ensure delivery of high-quality and consistent care.
  • Identify capacity needs and lead on recruitment and resourcing for the team.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes, safeguarding standards and operational excellence.
  • Act as a bridge between frontline coaching delivery and key stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

  • HCPC-registered Dietitian with at least 2 years’ experience.
  • Experience in team leadership, supervision, or service development.
  • Strong background in behaviour change, digital coaching, or lifestyle medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in managing a digital caseload and using online platforms.
  • Proactive, flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience in quality assurance, governance or safeguarding frameworks.
  • Experience working in digital health, remote care, or within a health tech organisation.
  • Project management or operational oversight of clinical services.
