Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. - Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs. - Provide companionship and emotional support to service users, fostering a respectful and caring environment. - Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in health or behaviour. - Support with meal preparation and feeding when necessary, ensuring dietary requirements are met. - Communicate effectively with team members, service users, and their families to ensure holistic care delivery. - Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including infection control procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential. - Good understanding of care plans and how to implement them effectively. - Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes. - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. - A caring attitude with strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with service users.
