The Supply Register is working in partnership with Newcastle College to recruit Health and Social Care Lecturers to support across their curriculum on a flexible, as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a well-established college, with the potential for longer-term roles.

The Role
You’ll support learners across a range of Health and Social Care courses, helping them build the knowledge and skills needed for careers in the sector.
Deliver engaging lessons across Level 1–Level 3 (BTEC / CACHE)
Support learners with coursework and assignments
Provide feedback and monitor progress
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Adapt to different classes and learner needs
What We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds:
Essential:
Experience in Health and Social Care (teaching or industry)
Strong communication and organisational skills
A flexible and reliable approach
Desirable:
Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DET)
Experience in FE or post-16 education
Experience delivering BTEC, CACHE, or similar qualifications
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
