Corporate Health & Safety Manager\n\nLocation: Exeter\n Salary: 25.54 an hour \n Contract: Until 17th of April 2026\n\nMonday to Friday - 9am till 5pm \n\nOn site position. \n\nAre you passionate about creating safe and healthy workplaces?\n We're looking for an experienced health and safety professional to join our team as the designated competent person for occupational health and safety matters. This is a strategic leadership role where you'll shape policy, drive cultural change, and ensure compliance across all services.\n\nWhat you'll do:\n\nProvide expert advice to senior leadership on health and safety legislation and best practice.\nDevelop and deliver the company-wide health and safety strategy, policies, and annual plans.\nLead initiatives that promote staff well being and influence future workplace design.\nOversee audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure continuous improvement.\nDesign and deliver training programmes to build competence and confidence across the organisation.\nAct as the company representative with regulatory bodies and external partners.\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n\nProven experience in a senior health and safety role, ideally within a complex organisation.\nStrong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.\nExcellent communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.\nExcellent understanding of occupational H&S, risk management and audit processes\nOccupational safety and health qualification equivalent to EQF level 6 E.g.
