Irwin and Colton has been engaged to recruit a Health and Safety Manager by a specialist construction company who operate on luxury residential fit-out and refurbishment projects. With a strong emphasis on health and safety, this position is perfect for someone eager to advance their career while contributing to safer working environments.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:

Engaging across the sites, implementing health and safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and developing contractors
Conduct training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents where required
Lead on audits and inspections of project sites, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findings The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

Experience in a similar role ideally from within construction, fit-out, refurbishment or related industry
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
Good communications skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people
