Senior Health & Safety Manager \n\nThe Role:\n\nWe're seeking an experienced Lead Health & Safety Advisor to play a central role in driving a strong H&S culture across our project delivery teams. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing our health and safety strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n*Lead the implementation of H&S policies and procedures across the project.\n*Provide expert advice and guidance to delivery teams and stakeholders.\n*Conduct site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.\n*Facilitate incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are embedded.\n*Support and coach teams and contractors on best H&S practices.\n*Act as the primary H&S contact for the delivery team and interface with client H&S representatives.\n*Deliver and coordinate H&S training sessions.\n*Monitor, report and improve overall H&S performance in line with JV objectives.\n*Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Integrated Management Systems.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n*Proven experience in a senior H&S role, ideally within major infrastructure or rail projects.\n*Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and industry best practices.\n*NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., IOSH).\n*Excellent communication and leadership skills.\n*Ability to build relationships and influence across teams and contractors.\n*Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for safety excellence.\n\nBenefits\n*Be part of a flagship HS2 project that's transforming UK transport.\n*Work in a collaborative joint venture that values innovation and integrity.\n*Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.\n*Long-term project stability and professional growth opportunities.\n\nIf this Health and Safety Role is of interest to you, then please apply today with your up to date CV.
