Health and Safety Location: Sandbach Duration: Temporary 3-6 months Hours: 40 hours per week Pay Rate: £19.20ph Key Duties: Maintain and update internal health and safety management systems Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations Assist in the investigation of incidents, near misses, and accidents, and compile detailed reports Carry out thorough risk assessments and implement control measures where required Monitor and ensure compliance with legal obligations and internal safety policies Update and review health and safety procedures in line with legislation and best practice Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to staff Support the implementation of safety improvement initiatives Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections, and audits Collaborate with managers and supervisors to promote a strong safety culture across the site Requirements: Solid Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk management processes Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Competent in using Microsoft Office INDCOM
