This will be an operational position within a fast-paced environment with an opportunity to make a differenceYou will have the chance to lead the health and safety for the site but also have the guidance from an experienced Health and Safety ManagerA genuinely interesting position within a global business who want to make a differenceWorking within a collaborative team who are all supportive of one anotherThe opportunity to step up and develop as the health and safety professional for the site The Health and Safety Advisor will: Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and communicatedEnsure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintainedEstablish and maintain a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checksConduct regular risk assessments of the workplace activities, identifying potential hazards, and implementing controls to mitigate risks.Carry out and investigate accidents, near misses, and other safety incidents to determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.Promote a positive safety culture, encouraging participation and ownership of safety responsibilities at all levelsEngage with employees and management to raise awareness of safety issues and foster a proactive approach to risk management. What are they looking for? NEBOSH General CertificateMinimum 3 years' experience in a H&S roleExperience working within an operational environment (manufacturing preferred)Be able to communicate effectively and work well within a teamPassionate about developing a career in HSEJBRP1_UKTJ
